One Inch Ping Pong
"If not Bruce then who?"
"As long as I can remember I feel I have had this great creative and spiritual force within me, that is greater than faith, greater than ambition, greater than confidence, greater than determination, greater than vision. It is all these combined. My brain becomes magnetised with this dominating force which I hold in my hand." Bruce Lee (...as we remember him)
"Take your paddle, let me choose my weapon ...
... and let's play."

It's No Joke
"A clever and worthy use of humour?"
Today across the UK there are some highly creative comedians primed and ready to help us get through the dark and cold winter months that lie ahead. From your mum's favourite Frankie Boyle (not...), to relative newcomers Sean Walsh and Jack Whitehall, from the East End's Micky Flanagan to Xmas DVD favourites Jimmy Carr, Rhod Gilbert, Michael McIntyre, Lee Evans, and Russell Howard - the list of talent is both impressive and comforting. Comforting in that the last time I looked at my bank balance it's going to take alot to make me smile for the next few months!
In seeking out a SUSO studio favourite Russell Kane this afternoon (it's cold today and we needed cheering up!) we were surprised to come across a new and highly creative online campaign that delivers a pretty forthright message. It makes you think 'does humour always have to be funny?' Because just sometimes, it really isn't a joke.

The Fun Theory
"... it's all about the smile."
Some ideas are just so good, so creative, that they are best left without contextualising comment...
Respekt to VW for helping making this one happen.

King Of The Fancy Dress
"Halloween is coming..."
... and that means it's time to get creative with your costumes. It's no longer just about witches, ghosts and goblins ... these days it seems anything goes! Tranformer rigs are all the rage...
And we have to say, if this guy turned up on the doorstep 'trick or treating' with a witches bag in hand, we'd be suitably impressed to the tune of one giant bag of marshmallows!

Muppets Need Love Too
"Sesame Street uses animation, puppets, and live actors to stimulate young children's minds."
Childrens' minds eh? ... Really?
Clearly the stimulation goes well past just children. Another Fatty Spins Original. Love it.

Extreme Sheep
Thank you to the Baaa Studs and Samsung for making my day. This is wonderful.
This is brilliant for so many reasons. Sheepherders strapped LED vests onto their flock of sheep and had their dogs heard them to form amazing art forms on the hills of Wales. Forget bouncy balls in San Francisco, this is how they do it in the Valleys...

He-obama
If anyone reading this is an operative from the ‘axis of evil’, then you better watch out!
Behold, the Obama action figure! It was only a matter of time wasn’t it? Japan have hopped on the Obama bandwagon in their own inimitable way. Extras include alternative hands (pointing, holding, kung-fu grip), samurai sword, lightsaber, street-sweeper (?), and the all american necessity - pump action shotgun. Word has spread with such frenzy that the Gamu Toys website, usually known for its anime figures, has been brought to its knees.

The Fear Of Creativity
Check out Tim Brown’s talk on creating creative environments for creative people to live and work creatively.
Some companies get the whole ‘funky’ thing wrong and workplaces can start to look like the set of Rugrats. Tim’s argument, though, isn’t necessarily centred around wacky pink beanbags and ‘chill-out zones.’ It’s basically about fun. Fun leads to friendship, friendship leads to play, play leads to creativity. Not as foreboding an equation as Master Yoda’s, but no less accurate.
